My Favorite Reads for 2019

Sometimes it takes me awhile to get to my library. I hear about a book that interests me and I buy it. I do purchase more than I can consume in a timely manner. Fortunately, I do finally get around to all of them. So, for those of you that are annual attendees at the LA Festival of Books some of these will not be so new. In any event, these are the ones that were the most memorable for me in 2019. I really do need to start reading fiction. Amor Towles “A Gentleman in Moscow” is a fascinating observation through the lens of a former aristocrat.
